MyTPE wins first place in ISDB Group's startup competition

On May 21, 2025, the Algerian startup MyTPE marked a decisive turning point in its journey by winning first place in the Fintech category during the 3rd edition of the prestigious startup competition organized by ISDB Group during the annual forum held from May 19 to 22, 2025. This event, which took place after an intensive bootcamp that started on May 18, 2025, brought together the most innovative startups in the region, all ready to turn their ideas into concrete solutions with a strong economic impact.

A winning 4-minute pitch

It was after a compelling 4-minute pitch that MyTPE was able to seduce the jury, presenting both its technological solution and its solid business model. Facing formidable competition, particularly SlickPay (2nd place) and Diar Dzair (3rd place), MyTPE was able to stand out with its clear vision and ambition to revolutionize electronic payments in Algeria and Africa.

An innovative platform for banks and merchants

MyTPE's strength lies in its ability to connect banks and merchants through a Electronic Payment Terminal (EPT) management platform, whether physical or virtual. By addressing the issue of payment digitalization, the startup offers a complete and modular infrastructure, adapted to all sectors of activity.

Among its main features:

  • Centralized management of physical and virtual EPTs
  • Online payment integration
  • Mobile payment and e-wallets
  • Customized modules for banks and merchants

This "cluster" approach allows for a wide range of needs to be covered, while offering great flexibility in integrating with existing partner systems.

MyTPE's strategic objective is ambitious but clear: to democratize access to electronic payment, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises, in order to reduce cash circulation, a major challenge for emerging economies. By facilitating the adoption of digital solutions, MyTPE aligns with national policies of digital transition and financial inclusion.

A vision driven by local innovation

MyTPE's victory in this competition confirms not only the relevance of its business model but also the potential for innovation driven by Algerian startups. By winning first place, MyTPE sends a strong message: the future of payments is being built locally, by actors who understand the challenges of the terrain.
