Mr. Hachemi Benali Appointed President of the Algerian Group of Digital Actors (GAAN)

The Algerian Group of Digital Actors (GAAN) is pleased to officially announce the appointment of Mr. Hachemi Benali as its new President, succeeding Mr. Abdelwahab Kaoua.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CM Consulting, Mr. Hachemi Benali began his professional career in information systems in Europe in the late 1990s, specializing in systems integration. During this period, he gained extensive experience in digital transformation projects.

Driven by a strong desire to put his expertise at the service of his home country, he decided in 2003, alongside his brother and business partner, Mr. Mokhtar Benali, to launch an entrepreneurial venture in Algeria.

This initiative led to the establishment of CM Consulting, with the ambition of actively contributing to digital development and the modernization of Algerian businesses.

More than 22 years later, CM Consulting has established itself as a major player in Algeria's digital sector. This new chapter represents a continuation of Mr. Hachemi Benali's longstanding commitment to building and strengthening an integrated national digital ecosystem.

It is also worth highlighting that Mr. Hachemi Benali has served on the Board of Directors of the Algerian Group of Digital Actors (GAAN) since 2020.
